Karla Lozada is a Puerto Rico–born musician from Cabo Rojo whose artistry is deeply rooted in the rich musical traditions of the Caribbean and beyond. Raised in an environment steeped in rhythm and song, Karla developed a versatile voice shaped by jazz, bossa nova, boleros, salsa, and Puerto Rican folkloric music—genres that continue to inform her expressive and soulful style.

Karla holds a Bachelor of Arts in Music Therapy from Berklee College of Music, where she cultivated both her technical musicianship and a strong commitment to music as a tool for connection, healing, and community building.
