We’re honored to be part of the 19th annual SF Music Day, San Francisco’s beloved celebration of live music! This free, all-ages festival brings together 95 artists across 20 ensembles for more than six hours of continuous live performances.

Artists include dynamic Latin music band Bululú, alongside the San Francisco Chamber Orchestra, legendary experimental ensemble Rova Saxophone Quartet, Sundra Manning Organ Quintet, Cornelius Boots, and The Sampaguitas. Hank Dutt, former violist of Kronos Quartet, and celebrated pianist Kate Campbell will make the world debut of their new collaboration, the Dutt Campbell Duo.

From bluegrass and Filipina folk to soul jazz, classical, Latin, and experimental music, the program reflects the region’s vibrant and expansive musical landscape.

The Santa Clara Art & Wine Festival is an annual community event to raise money for Santa Clara community groups and nonprofits. This family event features over 170 artists and craft vendors, a Kids Kingdom, delicious food, live entertainment on two stages, premium wines and micro-brewed beer. Admission is free. Bululú’s live set is scheduled from 11:30am-12:45pm.

Third Thursdays on Treat is a vibrant monthly neighborhood celebration in San Francisco’s Mission District, bringing together live music, local artists and makers, food vendors, and community organizations for an evening of culture and connection. Set along Treat Avenue, this free outdoor event transforms the street into a lively gathering place where neighbors and visitors can discover local businesses, enjoy great food and drinks, and experience an eclectic lineup of performances in a welcoming, family-friendly atmosphere. With a strong focus on supporting local creativity and fostering community, Third Thursdays on Treat has quickly become one of the Mission’s favorite monthly traditions.

Since 1971, Mission Housing Development Corporation has provided affordable housing options to residents of San Francisco. Now, Mission Housing is one of the largest nonprofit housing organizations in San Francisco, owning or managing 35 buildings. The organization currently serves some 3,000 residents in 1,600 units. 1,000 additional 100 percent affordable rental units are being developed.

Berkeley Pride: From Joy to Justice will uplift LGBTQIA+ and QTBIMPOC arts, culture, community, and history in Berkeley and across the East Bay. The festival will feature local artists and performers, resource and service providers, community partners, and vibrant all-day programming for people of all ages.

Friday Nights at OMCA comes alive with the sounds, rhythms, and spirit of the Caribbean. Experience an unforgettable performance by BULULÚ, whose energetic Latin dance music creates the perfect soundtrack for an evening of connection and celebration. Plus, Andreina Febres-Cordero from Making Waves Studios will guide an interactive dance session for all skill levels. An Album Release Party

Join Bululú for the release celebration of DOMÉSTICO: From the Border of Home, our third album and most ambitious project to date.

The celebration will be a full evening of music, dancing, and community, Bululú style! DJ Agana will warm up the dance floor (salsa dance lesson included), followed by a high-energy set by Bululú featuring music from DOMÉSTICO and beyond. Expect plenty of surprises, special guests, and a good dose of fun.

The date is at legendary Ashkenaz in Berkeley, on Saturday, August 22. Come celebrate with us as we bring DOMÉSTICO to life—an album about the world we inhabit, the lives we lead, and the ways we resist, love, dance, and create community together.

Pull up to Eli's Mile High Club in Oakland for a laid-back pre-release hang with Bululú! We’re taking over the speakers with sneak peeks of brand-new tracks, plus DJ, videos, good vibes, and time to kick it with the recording artists at one of our favorite Bay Area spots.

Think of it as the perfect warm-up before our live album release performance the following week at Ashkenaz in Berkeley.

The annual festival brings together 17,000+ people to MacArthur Boulevard. We celebrate the immense talent and diverse culture of our Laurel, our Oakland, and our Bay Area community. Free admission. Bululú is scheduled to perform from 3pm-4pm.

Join us on A Night of Hope for Venezuela, a community benefit concert in Berkeley bringing together music, food, and local artists to raise funds for families affected by the recent earthquake in Venezuela. Through community, shared experiences, food, conversation, and live performances, we will raise funds to provide humanitarian assistance and stand in solidarity with those facing unimaginable loss.

All proceeds from this event will be donated to a carefully vetted nonprofit organization currently providing humanitarian and disaster relief on the ground in Venezuela.

The San Francisco Free Folk Festival has been happening since 1977, when the first festival was staged at the Hall of Flowers. They have been known to have between 2,000 and 3,000 guests attending the event! Free, open to the public, live music, activities, and more! Bululú is scheduled to perform from 3pm-4pm.
